I know so many people say they hate the media, but the media is here to make sure people know what’s going on.
This crew was reporting on the riots in Minneapolis, clearly cooperating with the Minneapolis police, and were arrested – without ever being told why. It all happened live on the air.
The media is the watchdog. What happens when you forcefully silence the watchdog?
Don’t make judgements until you watch the video. And don’t let your media prejudices, whatever they may be, stop you from seeing the infringement here.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz apologized to CNN president Jeff Zucker and said the arrests were unacceptable. That doesn’t change the fact that they happened.
